Job Description
CNN Robotics is looking for a skilled and experienced Application Cum Proposal Engineer who can handle conceptual solution development, technical proposals, and customer discussions for industrial automation and robotics projects. The candidate should understand customer requirements, prepare technical concepts, estimate project costing, and present solutions with the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements related to automation, robotics, and SPM solutions.
- Prepare conceptual layouts, technical solutions, and automation concepts.
- Develop technical proposals, solution documents, and project scope definitions.
- Prepare project costing including mechanical, electrical, robotics, and integration components.
- Coordinate with mechanical design, controls, and manufacturing teams.
- Support sales team during customer technical discussions and proposal presentations.
- Visit customer sites for requirement study and technical clarification.
- Prepare RFQ responses and techno-commercial proposals.
- Conduct feasibility analysis and concept validation.
- Maintain proposal database and costing sheets.
Requirements
- 6 - 8 years experience in automation, robotics integration, or SPM industry.
- Bachelor degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or Robotics Engineering.
- Hands-on conceptual design and development using 3D software such as SolidWorks or CATIA.
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation, robotics, and SPM solutions.
- Ability to develop automation concepts and system layouts.
- Knowledge of costing, budgeting, and project estimation.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of industrial robots such as FANUC, ABB, YASKAWA, and KUKA.
- Understanding of PLC based automation systems, conveyor systems, material handling, machine safety, mechanical design, and electrical controls.
