Job Description
CNN Robotics is looking for an experienced Sr. Engineer – Customer Service to manage the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and successful handover of industrial automation projects at customer locations.
This role requires strong hands-on knowledge of robotics, industrial automation and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs). The selected candidate will coordinate directly with customers, resolve technical issues and independently manage site activities to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule.
The position is based in Pune and requires extensive travel to customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer-site installation, commissioning and project execution
- Troubleshoot robotics, automation, mechanical and SPM-related technical issues
- Perform root-cause analysis and support effective problem resolution
- Coordinate with customers during technical discussions and project execution
- Independently plan and manage day-to-day site activities
- Ensure timely completion and successful handover of projects
- Support maintenance and service requirements at customer locations
- Maintain clear communication between customers and internal project teams
- Manage multiple projects and customer-site requirements simultaneously
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout project execution and handover
- Travel extensively to customer locations as required
Requirements
- B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience
- Strong technical understanding of robotics and industrial automation
- Hands-on experience with Special Purpose Machines and automation systems
- Experience in customer-site installation, commissioning and project execution
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
- Ability to independently manage customer-site activities
- Good customer communication and technical discussion skills
- Ability to coordinate effectively with customers and internal teams
- Willingness to travel extensively to customer locations
